2011 National Call for Student Papers

In conjunction with the National COPILAS Gala in Honor of his Excellency, Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata, Ambassador of Italy to the United States held on April 2, 2011 in Washington, DC and in an effort to illuminate the Italian Language within American schools, the National COPILAS announces the winning Papers for its first Call for Teacher Papers. 


Over 300 schools across the United States were sent applications for Students to submit a short essay on “What does studying Italian as a high school student mean to you? How has learning the language improved your studies in Literature…Art…Music…or History?”


The National COPILAS is proud to present and congratulate the top two Student Paper submissions:
